Fusion delivers a range of multi-platform marketing activities
ranging from high-level stakeholder engagement to public relations,
and employee communications.
Lynemouth Power Station appointed Fusion to manage external communications, media relations and CSR-led activities during its multi-million pound conversion programme from fossil fuel to biomass electricity production.
The highly complex and technically-advanced project is seen as one of the UK and Europe’s largest renewable energy conversion schemes and once complete, will supply the national grid with up to 390 MW of low-carbon electricity.
It also supports the UK Government’s strategy of reducing greenhouse gas emissions while boosting renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Due to the size, scale and nature of the project, Fusion delivers a range of multi-platform marketing activities ranging from high-level stakeholder engagement and standby crisis management to public relations expertise, employee communications and local community engagement. This includes the production of SwitchedOn, a quarterly newsletter distributed to employees and their families, public safety notices and regional, national and international trade media coverage.
Working closely with the power station’s parent company, Czech-based EPH, Fusion has now become an integral communications partner to Lynemouth Power Station.
